Large Groups

Clopton Courtyard is the perfect place for large group celebrations. 

 

We can sleep up to 24 people when you book the whole place or twelve people when you book half of the barns, keep reading below to see the different configurations.​​

Entire property - sleeps 24

 

The six barns have been built with an eco conscience, with timber frame structures and recycled building materials. They are fuelled by a biomass boiler using renewable energy (which keeps the underfloor heating toasty warm). 

 

Each main barn has its own unique name, character and style, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open plan living area and kitchen. Matilda Studio offers open plan living and sleeping, while The Sheringham Hut provides a contemporary glamping space (shares facilities with Lily Barn). Amba Barn has a large table that can seat 12 people and a larger living space in which to congregate as a group. A trestle table can be added on request, increasing this number to 16, however if you wish to dine as a larger group please let us know, and we will try to accommodate.

There is plenty of outdoor space in which to venture and relax, with lovely undisturbed views of the open countryside. A rustic BBQ, fire pit and covered dutch barn with picnic bench seating, allow for a wonderful alfresco experience.

You will have access to three gorgeous wood burning hot tubs, two of which sit within the semi-enclosed gardens of Lily and Alice Barns, and one larger hot tub, which is located under the cover of the dutch barn, overlooking the gorgeous farmland beyond.

Amba, Annie and Marney Barns are among a series of barn conversions that have been built with an eco conscience, with timber frame structures and recycled building materials. 

 

Each barn has its own unique name, character and style, with 1 king bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom and an open plan living area and kitchen. Amba Barn has a large table that can seat 12 people and a larger living space in which to congregate as a group. 

You will have private use of a large wood burning hot tub, which sits under the cover of a dutch barn, just a short walk across the courtyard. This hot tub has jets and gorgeous views of the farmland beyond. A rustic BBQ, fire pit and covered dutch barn with picnic bench seating, allow for a wonderful alfresco experience.

Please note that if you book through this listing, you will be sharing our outdoor communal facilities with another group; this includes the BBQ, fire pit and picnic benches. The hot tub is sited close to the communal areas.

Property with 4 Separate Barns Country View Sleeps 12

 

Alice Barn, Lily Barn, Matilda Studio and The Sheringham Hut are among a series of barn conversions that have been built with an eco conscience, with timber frame structures and recycled building materials. 

 

Each main barn has its own unique name, character and style, with 2 king bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open plan living area and kitchen. Matilda Studio offers open plan living and sleeping with one king bed, while The Sheringham Hut provides a contemporary glamping space with one king bed (sharing facilities with Lily Barn). Lily Barn has a large table that can seat 10 people and a larger living space in which to congregate as a group. Request our trestle table for more seating space.

You will have private use of two wood burning hot tubs, which sit within semi enclosed gardens outside Lily and Alice Barns. These hot tubs have gorgeous countryside views across open farmland, and offer some privacy due to the their garden locations.  A rustic BBQ, fire pit and covered dutch barn with picnic bench seating, allow for a wonderful alfresco experience.
